Meet the team

Elle Salvato

Co-Owner, Creative Director

Elle is the original FTC Magic Maker, neurodiverse powerhouse mind and free spirit. After completing her Bachelor of Visual Communication and Design at Monash University, Elle successfully climbed the corporate design ladder.

In 2019, Elle decided to slip her feet into a pair of shiny ruby slippers and start this journey of bringing magic to brands with big heart. Elle and Dan followed the yellow brick road together and, like a burst of stardust, their company From the Clouds Creative was born.

Dan Salvato

Dan is the Yang to Elle’s Yin and perfectly complements Elle’s design world with seamless communication. He delivers Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Stakeholder Engagement.

A mad sports fanatic and family man, Dan is either on the cricket pitch, the football field, or spending time with Elle, their family and famous furbaby Boo (@Love_Boo_Official on Instagram).

  • Huggies 101 Dalmatians

    We’ve been designing for Huggies since 2019. The Ultra Dry Limited Edition range nappies are sold exclusively in Coles and Woolworths. Featuring hand sketched artwork the 101 Dalmations range was a celebration of the gorgeous Disney film and all of the furbaby characters.

  • Pablo & Co Nickelodeon

    Pablo & Co is an Australian owned dog boutique selling quirky clothing and accessories for your furry friends. The approached us to level them up into Licensing and from Disney to Nickelodeon, Warner Bros, Harry Potter and Dr. Seuss - they haven’t looked back!

  • Target Lily Loves

    Prints with a little bit of novelty flair always stand out (that’s why they sell so well)! We created this Wild Rose print story for the Women’s Sleepwear category, to align with Target Australia’s Premium Design Offering.

  • Kleenex Frozen

    The Everyday Kids’ Tissues had to be full of that magical ’pester power’! The brief asked for shelf appeal, fun and commercial designs - so we landed on Frozen 2, The Lion King and Toy Story for the widest appeal.

  • Marketing For Dog Businesses

    Tatum over at thesocialdogcompany.com transforms your marketing from feeling complex to feeling in control. Her focus is pet businesses and she approached u to level up her branding to match her new offerings. We created simple, but striking Canva templates along with a seamlesss dog breed repeat, for use throughout her Social Media, email marketing and website.

  • Turning Red Campaign

    Disey approached us to create some motion graphics for their upcoming campaign to launch the film ‘Turning Red’ on the Disney socials.

  • Target Swimwear

    We create a boho swim story featuring a bold but commercial border print and custom print repeats and placements across swimwear, pullovers, thongs (flip flops) and board shorts.

  • Macpac Mens, Womens, Kids

    The brief from Macpac was, “We need to refresh our look and offering” - paired with their global adventure identity. The fantastic team at HQ in New Zealand worked with us to deliver over 40 unique designs featuring original illustrations, icons and slogans across Swim, Hiking, Cycling and Surf directions.

  • Pablo & Co Disney

  • Huggies Ultimate Premium Nappies

    Huggies approached us to create the Outer Cover Graphic Designs for their Premium Plant Based Ultimate Nappies. We hand sketched classic Disney characters such as Bambi, Dumbo and Simba, along with watercolour flora elements.

  • Calypso POS

    With total island feels, bold, fun and bright Point of Sale signage was created for the fresh beverage company Calypso, including Wobbler, Digital 8, Fridge Stickers and Counter Top Card.

  • FTC Print House

    We deliver unique textile a d fashion design through the integration of extensive industry experience and innovative storytelling. Our inspiring surface pattern prints inspire fashion houses, retailers and fabric manufacturers worldwide.
